Amanda Gatti (Brazilian-Italian, 1996) is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. She was born and raised in southern Brazil, where she worked as an actor-performer, video artist, producer and workshop facilitator until 2019, when she moved to the United Kingdom, continuing to develop her authorial projects mainly on the themes of city, border, displacement and identity.

She has a degree in Audiovisual Production from PUCRS (Brazil) and an Academic Mobility in Art History from UJA (Spain). She also trained with scenic artists, including Odin Teatret, Théâtre du Soleil, Imitating The Dog, among other renowned artists.

Amanda is a co-founder of the collective Território de Rupturas, currently based in the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil, which researches and develops projects based on the terms “border” and “immigration”, understood as a place of “difference” in the theory of “Dérive ” by Guy Debord on the act of walking and Georges Perec's concept of “Infraordinary”, which relates everyday life and art.

She uses her multidisciplinary experiences to create and collaborate with several artists in site-specific performances, outdoor urban performances presented to large crowds, video arts/films and transmedia projects. As a producer, she managed festivals, plays, films and artistic events in Brazil and in international co-productions.

In addition to her career in Brazil, she has lived in Spain and Italy, traveled to other countries and currently resides in London (England), having great interest in intercultural experiences.

She is currently developing and collaborating on some projects. Including: 'Litoral - What we carry  with us' a video art with images recorded in two coastal cities (Tramandaí/BR and Brighton/UK); 'My body is not your country' a solo show performed by Marta Bonito and directed by Amanda; 'After My Self' an experimental short film directed by Pedro Mendes.
